Making Veterans a Priority

Our nation’s veterans bravely served our country and made great sacrifices to do so.

During their service, they learn skills and leadership qualities that make them valuable assets to communities and businesses long after they leave military service.  We know that firsthand – more than 30,000 of The Home Depot’s associates are veterans.

We also know that the transition from military to civilian life isn’t easy.  The statistics show that many veterans face severe housing needs…sometimes because of a disability from combat injuries…or because they’ve been particularly hard hit by the economy…and sometimes because they simply can’t find affordable housing.

The Home Depot Foundation and Team Depot are taking on veterans’ housing issues in a big way.  Learn more about our partners and what our associates are doing to ensure that every veteran has a safe place to call home.
